Say "hi" to Kylie and Noah! We also have a dog, Hank.
Hello! I'm Mrs. Dasinger, as I'm sure you inferred above. Not sure what that inferred word means? No worries, next time you read this bio - you will. Since you stopped by this page, I would love to tell you a little about myself, so we can get to know one another better. Here's my story of how I became YOUR teacher.

Growing up, I was always helping my younger siblings with their homework - especially their reading/writing homework. I believe I was destined to be a teacher! I attended John Carroll University and earned my Bachelor degrees in English and History. Then, I signed up for the Master of Education Program and earned my M.Ed in Middle Childhood Studies. I just love working with middle school children! You all are so much fun, so inquisitive, and a joy to teach!

I began my teaching career as a one year teaching intern for South Euclid -Lyndhurst schools. That is where I met Mr. Dasinger! After earning my masters, I moved to sunny, beautiful Williamsburg, Virginia where I taught 6th grade English. Missing family, friends, (and Mr. D,) prompted me to return to Ohio and I worked for St. William School as a 6-7th grade Language Arts and Social Studies teacher. Finally, in 2010, I landed in Perry. I've worked for Perry Middle School since 2010, teaching grades 8, 5, and now 6!

Anyways, I am so excited to be your teacher this year and I just know we are going to embark on quite an adventure! I love to read, write, travel, sing, talk about my kids, laugh, shop, and most of all - have fun! To my new students -get ready for fun! I'm so excited to get to know you as well!

~Mrs. D

A few trivia facts: I'm obsessed with everything Disney. My favorite Villain is Maleficent. My favorite character is Donald Duck (he is hilarious!), and I've watched most of the movies probably dozens and dozens of times! I am Italian, and I love to cook almost as I love to eat! My favorite book genre is historical fiction. You can make me laugh - a lot. I love dogs, Target,  and a good pizza. The rest - well, you'll have to find out! Oh, and PS - 6th grade is my favorite grade to teach!
