Author: Jack Gantos
Reviewer: Alex K This realistic fiction story is a sequel to the novel, Dead End in Norvelt. I loved the first book because it was humorous and a murder mystery. Imagine - you fall into a septic tank and then learn that you are going to New York with your 90-year-old neighbor, who has arthritis, just to go see Eleanor Roosevelt's grave because that same neighbor loved Mrs. Roosevelt for creating Norvelt. Jack's summer is a disaster due to this and more. I recommend this book to you if you love humor and murder mysteries.
